Overview
Art Hotel is La dolce vita's 2019 hospitality project in Taichung. The project is built on a single concept, Layers about Design, Music and Art, a triple dialogue across three creative disciplines.
We collaborated with Austrian artist Elisa Alberti, translating her work into the spatial fabric of each guest room. We also invited Taiwanese musician Jiang Beihan to compose an original soundscape, letting hearing enter the stay alongside seeing. Each guest room is composed in layers. When the three disciplines meet within one room, the stay is no longer simply a night of rest, but a complete artistic experience.
