For a globetrotting couple — entrepreneurs whose home holds collections gathered from across the world — a residence is more than shelter. It is a vessel in which worldly perspectives settle into daily life. Located within Treasure Dragon in Taichung, this renovation of a generous-scale apartment turns on the idea of The Collector's Pause — a corner amid the bustle, where one may settle, wander, and slowly contemplate each piece of one's collection.

The design moves between completeness and pause, allowing the collection to lead the spatial narrative without overwhelming the space with display. Daylight is invited into every turn; materials remain warm yet restrained; details follow the rhythm of the homeowners' lives.

A home reflects its keeper — warm, refined, and large enough to hold the world.
